So i picked up Mass Effect for £5 and i was wondering about the DLC with this being the Disc bought version how would i go about getting the DLC? I was also wondering would the file save from the Disc version of Mass Effect work with Steam versions of Mass Effect 2 and 3?

Save games will work on either version.

DLC wise don't bother with Pinnacle Station, just go here and follow the instructions and get the free DLC.

The save will work on 2, but not 3, because you can't go from 1 to 3.
The DLC sucks.

Only Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station. Bring Down the Sky is good fun, the other one is pretty pointless unless you really need some extra XP. Not worth buying though. ME2 has a ton of DLC though.

ah thats the one i was thinking of, i knew one of them had quite a bit of DLC.

Saves will work between 1 & 2 regardless of which version of the game it is. For ME3 I'm pretty sure you will have to have an ME2 save, regardless of the version.
