Only one that comes to mind is the DFI Jr. X58.

There's a motherboard coming out called the ASUS Rampage II Gene. Good alternative to the DFI.

Only 775 one I could find. But your going to have bottleneck issues and also probly slot issues.

cool you think it will fit 2x280 evga cards
775 was the one i was looking for thanks
Unless you are using liquid cooling, the best thing you can fit on that 775 board is a pair of 9800GTs.
Yep GTX 280s are BIG. So you might have some issues.

Umm you dont HAVE to use the IDE. Most mobos come with it just in case people have some old IDE dvd drives or something that they want to use. There are plenty of SATA II slots in there

would it be a cpu bottleneck or motherboard
The motherboard would be due to the second PCIe slot at x2 or w/e its at.

Motherboard. I don't think the 9400 is capable of more than 16x4, and the 4x on the second GTX 280 would make it's performance useless.

Not to mention the cards won't even physically fit on the motherboard.

the hard drive connection or cd bd-rom will not fit on that board
sorry Kamikaze127 if i confused you
