how do I find the max fsb for my cpu, or what is it?

You'd really be talking about either the max CPU speed or the max HTT with an AMD64. If it's max speed, keep raising until unstable, if it's the HTT, this should be kept at or just lower than 1000Mhz (FSB*HT Multiplier)

You start overclocking... and once you can't go any further, look in your CPU-Z and check.

Yep, you'll probably reach the ram's max speed at around 250-260Mhz. Both your mobo and CPU should go faster than this. Best way to find this out though is to do the testing
