I recently discovered that my gtx 560 ti only can run two monitors, My fault for not thoroughly researching. Anyway I have three 19in monitors and I like having the larger desktop I am currently running the third monitor off an old quadro FX3500. Though needless to say running two completely different cards has issues, and I really can't get the use of the quadro because I can't run the quadro drivers otherwise my 560 runs like a word that I can't say on OCN. So I am planning on buying another GTX 560 Ti and SLI-ing them together. Which brings me to my question, If I were to SLI two 560s together could it run 3 monitors?

Yes, I believe it'd be 3 in SLI and you could run 4 if you wanted without SLI, like 2 per GPU.

Personally Io believe in matching cards. When they run at two different factory frequencies its not fun (will run at lower frequency). Also the look of matching cards is nice. The SC is the one that comes at 900MHz from the factory right? Not a slouch at all.

Get a matching one for looks. EVGA also has good (gone bad) customer supports.

Yup, NV now supports multi monitor + SLI
