Maximus 2 Formula

I have a maximus 2 formula and when i turn it on it reboots 2 times and on the 3rd time it just has the fans running, dvd and hdd all turn on as well, the motherboard will not post no matter what, i have tried to see if it is a ram issue and it is not, can anyone help?

Does that board have the LCD poster like the original Max Formula? If so what does it stop on?
It does come with a LED poster.

Could be a defective motherboard.
Did you try testing out the memories? Using each stick on each slot?
yes it does have a lcd screen, it says power off, yea i have also tried 1 sick of ram in each slot.

I'll be watching this thread as i'm having the exact same problem. Could be a bios problem try using a old cpu and update the bios for wolfdale support. I don't have access to a old cpu or i'd try it myself.

I have been using a wolfdale since day 1 e8200 to be exact, never touched the bios though, was not even overclocked this time
