Hi,
Old Aopen AX33 has a Integrated ATA66 Controller which supports Max Disk 137GB [28 bits ATA Spec.].
Mr BIOS (now esupport.com) breaks this 137 GB barrier, but this upgrade is now too expensive for this obsolete mobo, as well as the add of ATA100 and/or USB2 cards.
Do you know a release AX33 BIOS R1.10 (2002.1.12) with support for HDD larger than 137GB and which is proposed on different Chinese or Japanese links (ax33110.zip: ax33110.exe, ax33110.bin) ? (I was never able to download it).
Maybe everybody knows the operation for modifying therefor AX33 R.1.09 with AwdbEdit (Award BIOS Editor) ?
Thanks

What operating system are you using? If you're on Windows 2000 or XP, most hard drive manufacturers offer a utility that will ensure the OS supports LBA. Check the manufacturer site of your hard drive.
