Hi all! I recently got an MDA Vario of T-Mobile in Germany and I really like it. Since I don't know for sure whether this Phone is very popular outside Europe, I'd like to ask if anybody has experience with it and where to get funny games or applications for it. Here, I can't find any forum that seriously deals with it.
Please also check out my thread about my diploma thesis: http://www.overclock.net/new-members...-research.html
Thanks!

I have the Sprint PCS version of this called the PPC-6700. I really like it a lot hwoever battery life is very poor on my unit and there is nothing I can do about it. However on your GSM unit the battery is much better I hear and you can actually shut off your device unlike myself.
One thing to find is the Bluetooth hack to allow you to use Stereo Bluetooth Headphones with the device.
Thanks for the reply.
Actually, the battery of my unit is pretty good as you mentioned, although not comparable to normal cell phones.
Anyway, the Bluetooth stereo headset idea sounds pretty cool , never heard of it. I actually allready looked for something like that but did not come across the necesity of any hack and stoped searching since I'm very satisfied with the headset that came with the unit, it's fair enough for music as well and allows me to talk in an amazing quality even when I'm riding my bike in city traffic
However, I'd like to hear more about it since wireless is en vouge anyway... although it's more than likely that I loose anything that is not bound to my phone by a cord.

Thanks - currently I'm desperate trying to make my headphones work with voice command. That's not that easy, especially when you have no idea what you are doing But at least, a nice lady is reading the namesof those calling - which appears to be funny since it's the English test version and my buddies have particular German names...

By the way: How do I get the full version

You can get free java applications(assuming the phone has java) at www.getjar.com
As long as you have a usb cable and a manager to transfer them, you just put it in the correct drectory and you got stuff. You might have to read tutorials on how though. Its easy on my v3, not sure about your phone.
