Me + Old 8800GT = Folding.

I think I'll start joining the cause. I'll use my old 8800GT to start folding!

Welcome to the wonderful world of folding!
Thank you. It's not doing as fast as I think it should be. It's only a dual core. Meh. Good thing I'm not on that.

They're great cards, mine @ 1728mhz shaders gets 5.6k PPD on 353pt WUs, about 4900 PPD on 787pt WUs, and ~4200 on 1888 pt WUs. Only problem is the single-slot EVGA cooler, which keeps the card at 80C load @ 50% fan folding a 353 pt WU.

You mean on your dual core? when you're folding?

I"m not sure how many applications really utilizate dual-core let alone 4-8 core, besides stress tests, and folding. But it's not many that's for sure.

If you want less lag with lots of programs go to linux :)

every day I fold with my 9800GTX+ and once I get a chance, i will have an 8800GT or something folding as well.

7950 has no CUDA. Can't fold on it.
