So what I thought was a memory problem, i now think is a mobo problem. I got new RAM, GSkill 1024x2 F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX, and have been putting it through memtest. The Asus A8N-SLI-Premium has 4 memory slots, the 2 blue ones are for dual channel ( correct me if im wrong) and are #1 and #3 memory slots. Now I've tested my new GSkill memory in slot #3, with about 8+ passes of the test each, and they passed with no errors. I put them in slot #1 (slot closest to CPU) and I get about 10 errors, always on test 7, in 8+ passes on each stick. So im thinking the #1 slot, is faulty which is one of the dual channel slots so it's not like I can just not use it. I got the board last x-mas, and Asus's tech support is kind of confusing on exchanges/repairs...what doy ou guys think? rest of my specs are down below
