microcenter is always that cheap, and it's an extra $40 when you purchase it with a motherboard.

AND they price match

AND they accept returns within 30 days NO QUESTIONS ASKED

You could test out anything in their store essentially and just return it 30 days later.

I thought about "buying" a bunch of GPU's for a folding event then just returning them afterwards...My conscience got the better of me

I'm not 100% but there is reports the Tustin MC has prices higher then what's listed. In fine print it does say prices vary by stores

Tustin does have higher prices. I was fooled into going there before to find out it was like $50 more or so

About $60 less than newegg. +$50 off mobo saves $110. Not a bad deal. Though I'm waiting for the 4930k.

I have a coworker who buys GPUs there and pays for the extra warranty or whatever. What he does is he gets the very best GPU, and then when a new one comes out, he returns it saying it is defective and he gets the new model for practically free.

My original 3570K i got for $190 and a Fatal1ty Z77 with $50 off. came out to be $320 with tax.

I recently bought a set for a friend in MC, it came down to:
$199 for 4670K CPU
$69 for Asrock Z87 Pro MB (was $40 off when bought together with CPU)

Microcenter has crazy deals on latest mainstream CPUs and also motherboards when bought as a combo (not so much for high end MB though).
