Microsoft Office rolling back on install

hai. when i try 2 install microsoft office (lite version), it goes through the normal stage of installing, the green bar going from left to right, then all of a sudden, it just rolls back. if any1 culd tell me haw 2 fix this prob, then it wuld b gr8ly appreciated, b/c i have work i need to finish

Make sure that you have all latest Windows updates and install the Genuine Microsoft Office Software not the pirated lite version. k
