Hey OCN, finally got my AVIOR. Here are some pics and some first impressions. When I get around to it later this week, I'll shoot a review video.
I'll just start out by saying this mouse is very exciting. It may possibly be the best mouse on the market right now, overall. It has pretty much the perfect shape for almost anyone and best overall sensor right now and almost perfect software all in one package, combined with great build quality at a reasonable price, considering.
The shape is unique, and possibly more comfy than the Sensei I had before. The first thing you notice when you hold it for the first time is how far forward the scroll wheel is. This mouse is meant to dig into your palm more, or to be clawed. It works great, but it's just something that I didn't notice with other mice I've had in the past.
The second thing you notice about this mouse is the shape of the sides and how unique that is as well. I think it's brilliant how the back manages to go from a / \ shape to the front going in a pronounced \ / shape. This is a lot more comfortable I find, and my ring and pinky still have breathing room on the right side of the mouse, whereas on the Taipan they are very constricted. This is an awesome shape, and I really like it. The clicks are equally amazing. Responsive, without play, nice sound, nice tactile feedback, all the way around on every switch, even the CPI changing buttons.
I can't comment on the sensor performance at this time, as I'm still in the research lab doing "research" here, but man oh man this is about as close to perfect as I've felt for a gaming mouse yet. The test I did do was with DIMR, and it shows an ULTRA stable 1019 Hz average. It doesn't bounce or stutter at ALL like a lot of other mice. Tracking smoothness I would predict should be incredible as a result. I will also say I did run into the CPI switching bug where if you're on the top CPI step and you try to increase the CPI again, the mouse just stops working until you unplug and plug it back in. Whoever was offering to give me the beta firmware for this device, could you provide a link again? I'd like to try it as long as there are no other drawbacks to it.
Enotus and Paint tests to come.

EDIT1:
Some thoughts after my first session of FPS play with the device.
The shape makes hours of play effortless, the feet are large but better and smoother gliding than any other mouse I've ever used, and the sensor is impossibly perfect. Even the scroll wheel feels just right. Really impressed. About the only things I'd change would be the ability for the software to enable a profile automatically upon starting a game and restoring back when the game is exited, LED indicators for current CPI on the mouse like on the NAOS 8200, and the ability to switch between up to 5 different DPI values instead of only 3. Also onboard memory sufficient to store all 5 full profiles onto the mouse for use on the go with a switching button on the bottom of the mouse or an LCD display there to customize driverlessly would be awesome. For me personally I feel the wheel would also benefit from a move toward the aft of the mouse by a couple mm. I can't think of anything else I'd want here. These are all non-essential improvements for the most part and the device is incredible as it is. Just need that beta firmware.

EDIT 3:
Link to beta firmware so that anyone who purchases the mouse can immediately use it without the CPI up spam -> locked mouse bug happening to them. It is 100% stable, I've been using it for some time now.

Installation instructions:
1: Make sure the mouse is unplugged from your USB port.
2: Hold down the right mouse button, left mouse button and the scrollwheel button at the same time and continue to hold while plugging the mouse into a USB port. If you want to be safest, use a USB 2.0 port.
3: The logo LED and the scroll wheel LED of the mouse should now be blinking.
4: Run the firmware update software. That's it. Enjoy.
EDIT 4:
Acceleration test. Very raw, uncut footage with lots of human error.
EDIT 5:
The acceleration test is still accurate. I'm just not very consistent with swiping, my 3090 mice (FK and G400) both act the same way.
Thought I would also add this Mionix video by Tek Syndicate where they reveal some very useful information about the brand and especially their mice.
EDIT 6:
Firmware 3.08 pre-release. Have discovered no bugs in regular use, and fixes some issues with the mouse not working between restarts and sleep/resumes. Also reduces smoothing and also appears to properly interpolate above 5000 CPI now.

EDIT 7:
3.08 appears to have some kind of strange issue where profile 3 is always selected after unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in.
Apparently there are new test firmwares on the way according to Mionix, but I haven't received them yet. Will update the OP again if/when I get them.
EDIT 8:
Test firmware 3.38: https://www.dropbox.com/s/732egm00uk9svfx/AVIOR7000%20firmware%20version%20V3.38.rar?dl=0
Please note that Mionix specifically says that some driver features may not work correctly as this is just a quick test firmware that was rushed out, for TEST ONLY. The purpose of this firmware is to eliminate smoothing from what I've been told.
Direct copy/paste from an email: "Some software features might not work but the smoothing issue should now be fixed."
EDIT 9:
Optimal mousepads.
Hard mats tend to increase LOD significantly on this mouse. Stick with cloth.
Some QcK Mini/QcK/QcK Mass/QcK+/QcK Heavy surface users have reported low malfunction speeds. I would stay away from this pad series.
PureTrak Talent, Goliathus, etc. all work fine.
Do NOT use the current SARGAS line from Mionix. This pad also causes a high LOD and frays quickly. No clue why. A new version is expected to come out soon.
