"Missing Operating System"

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Hope you all have a great holiday.

I unplugged and moved my desktop for about a week as my carpet was being cleaned. It worked just fine the day it was unplugged. When I connected everything back up this afternoon, my BIOS was reset. I had all my OC settings saved in a profile though, so that was a quick fix. Once, the computer restarted again, it POST just fine, but displayed Missing Operating System and nothing more....

I used my Vista Install DVD to try to do a system repair with no luck. I went into Command using the disk and my C drive does not contain a recognized file system says prompt.

I tried to do a chkdsk command, but it says the type of file system is RAW and chkdsk is not available for RAW drives.

Also, the computer I'm talking about is the one is my sig and the OS is on a RAID 0 partition.

Make sure you re-enabled Raid and that the BIOs see your raid 0 array.

It is possible that one of your drives dropped out of raid when your BIOs reset, and you will have to reformat your OS. I've never had it happen to me but it has happened to others.

Awesome. I went and checked my BIOS again and for some reason or another, even though all my OC settings were saved in the Profile I made, the HDD configuration settings were not. It was set to IDE instead of RAID....

Thanks a bunch though. Have a Happy Thanksgiving man.
