I have 2 "Corsair Force CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT" in a RAID 0.
Specs for R/W...
Read: up to 285MB/s
Write: up to 275MB/s
Random Write 4K: 15,000 IOPS / 50,000 IOPS (Aligned)
SandForce controller: Probably the 1200 ( http://www.corsair.com/cssd-f60gb2-brkt.html )

I have an opportunity to buy 2 "OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G".

The guy I am getting the "OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G" from bought them about 3-4 months ago. He changed his mind and wants larger SSD's.

My question is, can I mix and match these drives in a RAID 0? Has anyone ever did this?
If so, will BGC (Background Garbage Collection) still function properly.

My SWAG is it should work fine. The specs all look close enough that there should be very minimal performance degradation, if any.
I'm just worried about BGC not functioning correctly. If it doesn't then that's my deal breaker.

Thanks

As long as they are the same size.
They're basically on the same controller so you should be fine.
Well...
I guess there's only one way to find out.....
I'll post my experience. lol
