I am running 32gigs of ram with a ryzen 5800x, b450m board. Mix of 2x8gb 3200mhz and 2x8gb 3000mhz.
Have a stable overclock running with both at 3200mhz, base timings from the 3200 without XMP on (I think), SOC at 1.15ish and DRAM at 1.27v. Tried doing 3400mhz on both for fun but no post no matter the voltages set.
They were unstable at DRAM 1.3 and 1.35, I'm assuming due to timings being too slow.
Currently running base timings, any advice on how I can optimise them further?
XMP timings just dont work with this speed. And XMP timings were also throwing up errors on lower frequencies, 3000mhz, 2800mhz..
Specified XMP Timings:
DDR4 3200 Latency: 16-18-18-36,
DDR4 3000 Latency: 15-15-15-36 is whats listed on amazon, CPU-Z says the XMP profile should be 16-20-20-38
And current timings below set by auto:
