Try looking for a..

790fx board if you want to crossfire

790gx board if you dont plan on crossfire
is it the phenom 2 x3 7x0 that you're talking about? or the phenom x3 8x50 series?
yea its a phenom 2 3x my bad
last question. do you plan running ddr3 or ddr2?

Agreed, the next couple of months should be good for AMD. There are some new chipsets coming out for AM3, so you might try to hold out for a bit longer.

If you want, you can pick up the 720 BE right now, and use that in an existing board for a while. Personally, I'm not gonna get a new board for my rig until they come out.

Good luck
should i run it wit a ddr2 or ddr3 i was planning wit ddr3 but i aint sure now
a board with the SB750 (790GX or newer 790FXs)
or go AM3!
so i dnt know if i should use 2 or 3 memory stick on it cuz i have the

JetWay JHA07-ULTRA-LF AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

Dual channel ram works best in pairs, and OCin with only two dimm slots full usually allows a higher ram OC.

I would get a 2x2 gig kit of DDR1066. Most of those kits are $40-70, and will do just fine for you.

Good luck
