Some months ago i started a project called Steellow (link) , but i was not as happy as i planned with the pieces finish, also i published my thread in the Small Form Factor category, where the grand part of the threads were about buildings only, and there was a llitle part of users seeing that category.

Too delicate to use the jig, so the saber saw was a great choice

A few more cuts and this usseless grill came off, remains to sand the panel to make a straight cut, because it will be visible throught the metal mesh

Backplate work: design, mark, cutting and more

The MB will be rotated -90º, the MB tray has 5 holes (plus the thumbscrews holes):

Left-down: EPS Cable hole.
Big centre: Cpu cooler mounting socket hole.
Right Up (Big): 24pin and USB 3.0 hole.
Right Up (Small): Sata Cable hole.
Right Mid: Front panel cable holes.

Is the magic of the layers, with the push of a button a whole tangle of lines dissapears

You are going well. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you go bottom mounted motherboard keep in eye the problem with the power connectors of the GPU's hit the side window !

A very small update: Finishing the backplate

With a piece of foamed PVC (check for technic information of a local store, in spanish) i made this, can look ugly but will keep the mobo in place and makes a bright contrast

Today I just finished the plaxi part, this time i will not use a primer, because the major part of it it's not too much visible.To paint it I used a matt black spray paint.

A old mobo fits perfect, my "uncle" said that it runs when he took me to make proves with it. Also he took me a Asus 4850 TOP, a pretty holdover with a nice red pcb, not the frightful what Sapphire (and Gigabyte) use.

Also i've been doing a psu support, which will keep in place the psu and will reduce vibrations, more tomorrow, it's one o'clock here at west europe. Stay tuned for more!

First: It could be, i've redone some parts, second: a new thread also, third: Why? because my thread were in a little forum where the major part of threads were about only builts, not modding, and less people is watching assiduously. And thanks(to all) for viewing and comenting, i'm sure about tomorrow i will post another update
