Are you sure you are talking about the goggles that came with the game? Low-end NVG's cost upwards of $600. And those can't see that far. The ones that come with these suck, I'm sure using your actual eyes in the dark would be alot better than these. But thats just my opinion, I'd rather buy some other games rather than waste $70 dollars on crappy green tinted plastic jawns.

Anyways, gonna pick up my copy a little later.

I'm gonna rage a little here...

So I just got home from a High School Club meeting and I was planning on picking up MW2 on the way back to my house from a GameStop that is on the way. Walked in and told the guy I wanted to pick up the copy I reserved. Take out my wallet and I am about to hand over the $55 cash to pay for it. He asks me for my ID. No problem right? I have a drivers license and I'm 17. The douche then tells me that I have to be 18 to buy the game. Argued with him a little and told him that I had to be only 17. He still insisted that I had to be 18. I decided that I didn't want to make a scene since there were other people waiting in line behind me so I left. Drove home and checked my GOW2 & Halo 3 box to see what age I had to be. FACKING 17 YEARS OLD! So I call up the gamestop and tell him that he was basically full of horse-sht and that I only had to be 17. He says that he was only carrying out the orders from the company. Googled the box art for MW2 (even though I knew it was M 17+) and sure enough it was 17. Now I gotta drive all the way back to pick up a game that I should have been able to the first time. They are about to close and I was planning on playing tonight........:swearing:

No definitely not high end by any means, but they do work and better than the human eye in pitch dark. To each his own as far as weather its a waste of money or not. It's more of a novelty for me really. Hey, that's what is great about money though... you can spend it how ever you want.

The game is stellar with or without the goggles! Some dumb limitations compared to MW1(no private chat in death match + others), but I actually like the graphics and game play better.

You should've talked to a manager. Generally GAs can be dumb, some are great....he might've been misinformed.

One GA ruined the entire freaking bioshock story to a customer, I'm like, Mike...What the hell? My manager comes by asks what happens and apologizes....

Like I said, GAs can be ******ed.

Age restrictions? I went to gamestop to pick up my preorder of MW2 and I was born on 6/22/1993 (im 16) and I show him my permit, and the guy at the counter was like "oh you just barely made it" I think he didn't want to be an arse and not give me my game

there is an age restriction on MW2 theres a scene that is gruesome. please understand that sales associates are doing what they think is right, its like going to 7-11 and buying booze, take note that its their job nothing personal... if i was u since its ur money just go home and get some one old enough to buy it for you. if you have to blame someone dont blame it on the associate blame it on ESRB they are the one who insisted on AGE RATING... by the way i'm 32 and the guy asked me for an ID too so i said thank you that means i look young hahaha

they are not doing what they think is right, they are doing what they are required to do
