Just a really quick question the Molex connection can the 2 Molex be on the same cord or do they all need to be on separate cords for each Molex?



Sorry for the n00b question i cant remember... dont flame me to much

I would imagine even if a Cable has many molex's in it, they should all give the same amount of power...? Or else why would they even put so many on one cable...

The same cord coming from the PSU? Yeah, absolutely fine.

Each molex gives 50 watts, 6 pin Pciexpress gives 75watts, thats why you need 2 molex.

Just one more thing real quick 2 of these 6 pin Molex things going to 2 separate cards on the one Molex cord With 4 Molex is that ok?

and same i have got 2 PCIE on my PSU but need 2 more
mad.gif
so 1 PCIE on PSU and 1 Molex to PCIE for each card... till i get the OCZ ZX 1250w
