Monitor face-off.

Hello, OCN.

I'll be honest: I know not much about monitors in general, so I ask you, the visual experts, this:

If you had to choose between the following two monitors, which would it be?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-078-LG

Or this:

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158382

Now, I know the LG has a higher resolution, and a more preferred aspect ratio, but which would you, OCN, go for?

Also, please keep the content of the monitors out of the equation... if it came to that girl or the Ferrari, I'm not sure which it'd be.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: If you've got any better suggestions for £180, then I'd be most grateful for them.

Edit again: I don't watch many movies at all, and the black bars wouldn't bother me.

Edit again: If people would post at least one reason why too, that'd be great.

I hate screens with curved bezels and both those have really thick curved bezels.

That aside the LG is the obvious choice between the two.

I'd go with the LG, as well. Better aesthetics and higher resolution.

Definately the LG, better specs all around, and it's bigger.

Thanks everyone.

If you look in your User Control Panels, I believe you should all find a new Rep there, signed from me.

Oh god hehe, couldnt you have picked better pictures
i cant be subjective about this now.

But actually if you want other suggestions, how about the Dell ST2410 it looks fantastic, the Samsung P2450h is supposed to be very good too.
