I currently have an Acer laptop with a Core 2 duo [email protected] 3Mb L2 and 4GB ram. Ive tried all the temp monitoring programs but none of them display any movement on temps.
Some show the processor load wrong some right. But the temps are stuck at 27c on one core and 40c on the second.

I know there was some issue with some desktop cpu's that had temp monitoring problems.
Anyone got any advice on how to solve this?

Thanks

Yeah, I'd say check thier website to see if they may have a proprietary software for monitoring temps.

I just updated the bios. Now realtemp is showing the cpu load properly unlike before. The temp problem is still there but now instead of showing 27c on 1 core it says 47.... Still the readings are stable they never move...

Edit : Downloading some of their ****ty empowering technology apps to see if there is a monitor program...
