For me, it's $42.95 just for High-Speed Internet. It's listed on the bill as 12 Mbps with speeds up to 15 Mbps.

What is the actual speed you are paying for (16mbps, 20mbps?)

Here in Chicago its $130 for the Triple Play (16mpbs internet) after we had a bunch of movie and sport channels removed that nobody was watching.
Just post what the High-Speed Internet costs all by itself on the bill plus what the speed is listed as on the bill. That's all that's being asked.
Like $60 after tax and stuff.

Whoa. You get taxed and all that? When I look in the taxes, surcharges and fees section on my bill, High-Speed Internet is not included. It only includes Digital Voice and Digtal Cable.

I love Comcast because paying full price is optional. I've had their six month introductory rates for over three years now.

I pay $52 a month in Virginia for 16/2 cable internet and digital cable in two rooms with Showtime and HBO. The living room also has HD and DVR.

I'd bet most everyone here has the standard 12\\2 package, and pays between $43 and 48 dollars. If you have their cable TV service the internet is cheaper btw.

I'm not. I never asked them for a speed bracket and they never stated what bracket I was in either.

It just...is I guess. Now that you mention it I'll need to take a closer look at my bill next month.

My TOTAL bill a month for Digital TV and internet is $180.00/mo. so maybe out of their good nature they are giving me a faster connection.

You can also check online. Visit this page: https://login.comcast.net/account

And then log in with the primary account so that you can see the bill in the .pdf format. This is what I did in order to find out what my bill says. I mean, I could have gotten out of my chair and grabbed the bill, but this was much faster.

Anyway, my bill lists 12 Mbps with speeds up to 15 Mbps, and this is exactly what I get. Actually, I think the highest I've ever seen is almost exactly 16 Mbps which is 2 MBps (8 Mb per MB). But of course, the speed also depends on the server I'm downloading from.

Hmm. Then that means I created an account and forgot about the fact that I had to create it. I mean, I have 7 total now, and I used the Primary account a long time ago to make my main Comcast e-mail address the Primary account.

I guess that it's been so long that I thought Comcast set this account up for me while we were in the process for signing up for their High-Speed Internet service.

But if you have a Comcast e-mail address, then log in with its username and password and see what happens. If you can get access to this, then certain things will be more convenient from now on.
