Upgraded to the V7 client yesterday and it won't start folding. The client says folding active but it just sits there and waits as if it has no work. Here's a screenie:



The core15.fah was not there originally. I pasted the download link into the browser and it allowed me to save it there, so I did which I thought would help. But the problem is that it's not downloading the core normally. I have opened it up in Windows Firewall just to be sure there's no interference, but no dice.

Does [email protected] use Torrent-type traffic? My college for sure blocks that but I've been able to fold here before on the v6 client. Now trying to revert to it, it ALSO won't let me through now....

UPDATE: Canyouseeme.org says that it cannot get through to me through port 8080 which I'm told [email protected] uses. My college must block this port....

Can we give it a different port or something?

Thanks for the reply. I will ask the Network Operations department on Monday. I went through all the troubleshooting steps. I can ping the servers and everything seems good on that end, but I can get a log file from our firewall on Monday
