IMO, there are plenty of titles to choose from... if you really want a custom title, you can sign up and pay for an overclocked account, which allows you to get an overclock.net e-mail account, as well as freedom to customize your title to whatever you want (within the TOS)...

Or, you could just get 250 rep, wait a year, and get the overclocked account

For $35/year you can put anything there, as long as it complies with the TOS. (This is the overclocked account).

Right'o. If they gave us too many options, we'd be less likely to support OCN through a paid account. Just a little incentive, and there are enough choices as it is. Considering that most forums have the titles preset.

Yeah lol. $35.00 is just too much for the little extra features you get. I mean they already get a ton of money from sponsors and Google ads. And im sure alot more people would pay for the membership if it was lower.

Yeah, but if it was only $5 they would have to have 7 times more people to get the same profit, and it's unlikely that they could get that many.

I'm sure they decided to set the prices at that amount for a reason. Also, changing it would be difficult, considering that many have already paid. To then lower the prices would be unfair.

Ahahahah!!!!!!! thats hilarious!!!! But there is a company called Jagex who has a MMO game called Runescape.Com. Their memberships used to be 5$ a month, but they decided to increase the cost because of inflation, and the members u understood and continued to pay. Im sure that members that are paying right now would understand if they lowered the cost. But i see how people might get a little mad about it.

if you pay the 35.00 do you get use all the area like the for sale section? I have been on this site for 3+ yrs and still can't use the for sale because i can't get 35 reps,i just don't know enough to help out.
