I've been having some fun recently.

1 x Asus Formula IV (new)
2 x GTX 560 (new)
1 x GTX 275 (old)
1 x 1200w PSU (new)

All of the cards are double width, so I get three GPUs but the GTX 275 covers two slots. So I am eventually looking at removing the GTX 275 to free up the two slots so I can slot in two single width GPUs cards.

So I can max out my system with four GPS cards

I've just read the review of the 'KFA2 GeForce GTX 460 Razor single-slot graphics card review' on Nexus.net

http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=28457&page=6

And it seems single-slot GPU cards are getting better all the time.
Any suggestions on what is coming up in the next few months or even if there is anything better on the market?

Thanks.

I do not believe that the single slot 460 you mentioned can do SLI. To my knowledge the 5770 single slot may be the only card that you can connect 2 cards together.

Now if you are doing this for folding then the 460s should be great at that. If your doing this for gaming then you might be better off just getting 2 dual slot cards and calling it a day.

Isn't there a single slot GTX 460 that supports SLi?
Thats the route I would go.

If not, CrossfireX 5770's can give you 5870 performance and are good on temps and power usage too.

I forgot to mention, no need for SLI.
Galaxy GTX460 Razor Edition is currently the most powerful single slot card available.
