So im having a problem trying to get my motherboard to boot my memory at 1066mhz wehn it clearly states on the website that it will run it at 1066mhz. I have the same board and memory as ljason from on here and his works fine.
I have the memory set how it suppose to be. One thing i know is that my northbridge volts is way low 1.18 and ljasons's is 1.35 but he has a Q6600 i have a E6600. So please give me some suggestions
First off, you do not put "HELP ME!!!" in the topic title, we will not respond. Also, just go and check your ram on stick at a time and see if there is a dead one there. Also, check in your bios for some settings to fix your ram issue. You should be able to set it to 1066.
wait i think i figured it out!!!! my NB V is way to low its like 1.21v! ljason from on here his vcore is 1.35 and it works for him same memory and board.
sooooooooooo now im lost i made my NB volts 1.20v instead of 1.18 from stock and i set hte memory to how it suppsoe to (1066mhz, 5 5 5 15, 2.1v) and it didnt boot. it just went black screen and beeped a lot!. could it be my high voltage on memory or do i need more on my NB. My DRAM voltage is at the max for the memory. What else could i do.
