Hey all,
I recently picked up a gigabyte EX58-UD3R for my new i7 920.
I mounted the Xigma Dark Knight cooler with some artic silver 5 and went to mount the motherboard only to find NO SCREWS.
It turns out the used p182 I bought only has the risers and no screws and the gigabyte board does not come with mounting screws either.
At this point i'm thinking about just stopping by the local hardware store to pick up some screws.
What size are they exactly ?? I did a quick google search but only found this:
http://www.nanosys1.com/a-screw-mbd.html
and then this listing right below it however there isn't a description of what they are used for :
http://www.nanosys1.com/a-screw-4-40.html
However they are the same price and look pretty close to the first ones although i'm assuming they are different.
What do you guys think?
I've got a SERIOUS case of blue balls right now , not being able to hook up my new rig when its only minutes away ...
