Hi all,
my motherboard has a sata port on the back next to my usb ports and I would like to know if I can connect a internal hdd to it then run a sata power cable to and copy my games on it? this will just be temporary.
what I am doing is I have 2 ssd's and 2 hdd's in my system and my F drive hdd has only my steam games on it and I want to clone them to my new drive, I already have the cloning software as when I got my ssd I cloned my C drive hdd to it but at the time I had a spare internal sata port.
my hdd with my games is a slow Seagate 500gb and my wife's WD rep is giving me a free 1TB WD Raptor so I would like my games on it. my wife is a senior buyer of computer parts for intel so she gets free stuff once in awhile as both my ssd's were freebies.
thanks for any help and or tips.
