I was looking at a review of the bequiet! Silent Base 802 and though...
What if you installed the front intake fans INSIDE the case instead of on the outside where they're pressed right up next to the filter and front mesh panel?

Wouldn't that make it quieter?

I'm not building a gaming PC and won't even have a video card so I don't need that extra space the fans would take up on the inside.

Yes, it'd certainly be quieter. Fan's will also move more air, but not colder air. If quietness is your goal, don't even run that fan if you aren't pushing the cpu that much (assuming you aren't having overheating issues as is).

When I saw the front mounting holes on the front of the case viewed from the inside it just came to mind that fans could easily be mounted on that side too.
I'm planning to use a slightly undervolted 13700K so it will need good cooling but I'd hate for it to be loud.
