Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been discussed/answered extensively in a heap of other threads (if so, could you please link me to it/them).

Does mouse pad material & thickness effect mouse sensor accuracy & responsiveness?

Thanks!

thickness not really. material yes.

some materials that reflect a lot of light tend to not work well with most sensors. kinda vague but I hope you get the idea

depends on the sensor and how well it works with different materials.

distance from sensor to mousepad matters a bit, so mouse feet thickness will make a difference, but not mousepad thickness.

best is not-so-reflective all black surfaces with some texture.

I'm using the Logitech G Pro, so 3366 sensor. Does this mean anything for which mouse pad is ideal?

No, you should be A-ok. The 3366 isn't picky with surfaces. You could probably track well on a bed of nails with the 3366.

In other words, don't worry, you are fine with whatever pad you choose/prefer.
