Hi!

I have just a quick question and am looking for a quick answer

I have moved my documents, videos, downloads, and picture folders to my storage drive thus far, but I don't know if it is a good idea to move my desktop folder. Will it affect my performance in terms of moving files or boot times if I move the desktop folder off my SSD or will I not see a difference? Is there anything important I should know about doing this, in terms of effects or cautions or am I good to go for it?

The only reason I worry about this is because I move a lot of files to my desktop as a temporary place to put them until I file them away or delete them, so lots of writes

Thanks for the help!

In my experience so far, there are no problems with changing the location of the desktop.
