So I just ordered an SSD and it should be here monday. My plan is to put my OS on it and maybe a few other things later. But I am having a hard time finding a way to easily move it with no problems, I can do a clean install its just I do not want to have to reinstall everything.
I ordered a Kingston ssd now which comes with a copy of Acronis. Put I am not sure about using it since it doesn't seem to have an option to only move the os. And I cannot find a guide that shows how to make a recovery partition and just install it on the ssd.
Any help I would appreciate, and if not then I will just do a clean install onto the ssd and reinstall everything

I think no matter what kind of format you do, you must reinstall software you need.

Whatever it is backup all songs and vids every thing else except software properly.
You might need to reinstall software.
Otherwise everything is fine.
