MP3 Player

I'm looking for a half decent MP3 player, there are so many kinds! I was wondering if someone could help me out. Here's what I need:
Decent amount of storage (512MB, 1GB would be great)
Around the $80 range
No 'Special software' to put songs on it
An SD slot would be great, but I don't need one
FM radio

I've been looking at this thing and it looks like a good one, what do you guys think? I've also been thinking of getting this thingy and getting a 1GB SD card for $50.

This thing looks cool. There's no screen or radio, but it has a build in battery that charges through the USB port!:

I have a Creative Zen Micro. Awesome, sexy, bang for the buck... and... awesome....

I'd say go for Creative. Very trustworthy.

That Sansa (Scandisk) one is good, too. I know a guy who has it. It works just fine. Very easy to transfer music, etc. And has cool blue lighting... just like my Zen.

Yes, Creative makes a hella good MP3 player. My Zen Micro is awesome, and they are packaged with awesome earbuds. There's the Creative Nano in my comment. Stay away from the iPod....I honestly think they are evil. Yo want to stay with the "Play For Sure" players

$120, that's getting a little up there. Is 1GB really worth the extra $$$? How many songs will fit on 1GB? (I'll probably be using 128kBs for songs)

BTW: Does it have an FM radio? I'm looking to replace my FM CD player completely

My Zen Micro is a super trooper. It's been dropped pretty hard onto tile floors around 3 times and it's still goin like a champ. And yes the packaged earbuds do rock, until the damn foam falls off and they fall out fo your ears non-stop.
ROFL. Yeah, that happened to me. Hey, Krunk, have you found the foam, yet? LOL

I've gotten pretty used to the buds w/o foams.
But I would like another earbud.... The Creative ones are tight, but not all that tight. Stock, eh?

Oh, not to be an evil person... but... did you guys know that having earphones in your ears listening to music for 1 hr. increases the bacteria in your ears 700 times??!! I don't care, though. ROFL.

Like everybody has said, the creative MP3 player is good. My friend has the 512 Creative MUVO and loves it. He has had is for a year and it is working perfectly. He said he researched MP3 players quite a bit and he found this to be the best. He found that some other MP3 players had an occational clicking sound that was audible in music. His player has FM radio and a voice recorder.

I am going to get the 1GB version. I think the space will be very useful. I think they say it holds something like 240 songs. Depends on the quiality they are recorded, offcourse.

Actually, I did just find it! Yesterday as a matter of fact!

So how does using ear buds increase bacteria?
