if you edit your batch file and put "pause" after the last command it will hold the console window open so you can see errors etc.
MS Dos Batch File HELP!!!
I have a series of exes that I need to extract and when I attempt to run the included setup.bat file it opens and appears to run but then just says done(even though it hasnt done anything

When I run it on my dads pc its extracts everything fine and runs - but I cant copy and paste all the data to my computer cause the registry.
ANY IDEAS? New apps that run batch files? ms dos upgrade?
PS. im using XP Pro sp2 and h dad has XP Home sp2
