msg service in windows 7

I was messing around with msg /server:computername in win7 and I was wondering what exactly pops up as I see nothing when issuing it from one computer to the other networked computer. It all goes through fine, but isn't it supposed to popup a message box or something with the message?

The messenger service has been disabled since SP2 in Windows XP. It won't work unless you flag it as at least "manual" and start the service - it needs to be enabled on the recipient computer.

*EDIT*

And that is in the services MMC, if that seemed confusing. Go to run and write:

Code:

Code:
services.msc
Find the messenger service, and you know what I'm talking about.
Oh, forgot about needing to enable it lol. Thanks.
