I previously posted between the sapphire and xfx cards, and everyone seemed to love sapphire>xfx. Now i am considering MSI or ASUS. I am wondering if there are any cons to either of these cards, and also if a pci express 2.1 card will work in a pci express 2.0 motherboard. If it does work would it just run at the speed of 2.0?

Here is the 3 that i am looking at:

Sapphire- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-858-_-Product

ASUS- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-363-_-Product

MSI- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-490-_-Product

Yes, it will work fine. It would work fine in a 1.0 slot as well...

PCIe is a standard that has backwards and forwards compatibility.
