I just received my MSI 660Ti and first off the card is beautiful. Second off my HDMI won't work. DVI works perfectly fine, but I get no connection when I connect an HDMI cable. I have tried the latest Nvidia updates and nothing helps. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and/or knows a fix. thanks!

Have you tried using a different cable? Are you sure your HDMI works on your monitor?

The cable works when I plug it in on the onboard graphics. I'm really hoping it's not a defective port...

Could be. Why not just use DVI? It's the same quality.

Yes, it offers the same quality, but if he's using the NVIDIA HD Audio and hooking it up to a monitor with speakers won't he will lose that feature? Audio? Don't believe DVI carries the Audio.

I'm using HDMI to go to a second monitor that is actually a TV that doesn't have DVI. Only HDMI and VGA. I'm using DVI to go to my main monitor.

DVI is video output only.

If that's the case, RMA the card. Or you can buy a VGA to DVI adapter and use the VGA port on the card.

Same card, same problem.
I just contact MSI and have been communicate two different rep.
And last guy send me 660 TI OC BIOS update file.

I didn't have a chance to install this yet but i will after when i get home.

I will let you know what happen after install this update.

I ended up talking to MSI today and I got the BIOS file and after about 2 hours of figuring out how to run it I did, and the problem is still there. I think I am just going to RMA it tomorrow...

If you are sure the HDMI cable works fine then i think the 660 has a faulty port or something.

Good luck with RMA if your only option is to run that HDMI
