I recently purchased an MSI GT70 model with a Super Raid 2 msata sister board that holds 3x msatas. As far as I know, it can only sit as a single drive or in a 2 or 3x raid. My first question is does anyone have any experience with this and how well it has worked for them or if the drives can be operated separately?

My second question comes with which msatas should I purchase? I'm thinking of buying 240GB drives because the price seems good right now.

I'm stuck between the MyDigitalSSD 256GB 50mm Bullet Proof 4 BP4 mSATA and the Crucial M500 240GB mSATA:

They both add up to around the same price give or take tax for the crucial (50mm bullet proof no tax). I'm not sure if I'm going to go 2x or 3x yet though as well. Does anyone here know which (from experience or knowledge) which would be the better to choose from. Speed is second to reliability. It's a little nerve-racking raiding two or three drives together as I have little experience with it. I'm open to whatever you guys have to say. Also, would I be better off just buying one large mSATA instead? Thanks.
