isn't that just hte same thing as that Dual Chip 7800GT, it's notreally SLI but gives the same kind of peroformance (or a little less). Not sure if they benchmarked that card or not
I think the benefit of the MXM is the low power consumption andheat because of the fact that that they are mobile chips, passive cooling anyone? Yes please!
yeah, I saw an article on this a while ago... it's basically the same idea as the dual chip on a single pcb design that some manufactures have made and w/ the new slix16 chip it is possible to have quad gpus...
the main advantages are:
lower power consumption
less heat
if done right you can keep the same pcb and just switch the different units out to upgrade your gfx card.
also, that card should work with either 1 or 2 gpus.
