Mugen 2, worth changing fan?

I have a Mugen 2 Cooling my E8400 @ 4.0Ghz @ 1.3vcore, load temps with IBT are 58-60, Prime95 is about 50-52.

Currently I am using the fan that came with the cooler which I think is a Scythe Slip Stream, 120mm, 1200rpm, http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspeci...?ItemID=363599

I an thinking of swapping it out with a Scythe Slip Stream, 120mm, 1900rpm, http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspeci...?ItemID=363602
I will then swap the exhaust case fan with the Slip Stream 1200rpm fan which will exhaust more air out that the case fan at the moment.

Will I notice much tempreture difference with this change? is it worth the money?
Or should I look for a 38mm depth fan?

Yeah the fans that comes with it is VERY weak, if works fine for normal rigs but if you want to OC, I would get something better.
I would get a Yate from Petra's instead of the Kaze though.
get a high rated 120x38mm fan
delta, yate, panaflo;
i've heard the ultra kazes aren't best for heatsinks

There is no difference between heatsink and a radiator for water cooling system. They are good as delta, yate and panaflo.

well that's what i'm saying; people have said the kazes airflow isn't too great for being a 120x38 after being restricted by a heatsink or radiator
don't quote me on that! i'm just stating what i've read in that guy's huge/multiple fan test
absolutely. that slipstream is a bit weak for such massive heatsink. get a san ace, delta or ebm papst. panaflos are good cheap alternatives.

The Kazes are pretty good fans on a restrictive surface, but they are rather low quality. They are loud for the amount of air that they move, and have problems undervolting.

And don't get Slip Streams. Decent open air, but becomes terrible when it encounters any restriction.
Considering the yate is cheaper and performs better I find the Kaze, even at their low price, overrated.
Unless you're planning on swapping that dual core out for a quad, keep the stock fan because it's keeping your temps at a fine level without sounding like a hoover.
I was thinking about the 3000rpm Kaze but it runs at 45db which would get annoying after a while and I sleep about 2-3 meters away from my computer soo yea. I'll have a look for some of the other fans listed but I don't think I've seen any of those fans in New Zealand.

EDIT: I just had a look for delta, yate, san ace and panaflo fans on pricespy.co.nz and there is nothing except for one delta which is a 80mm.
Why do you say slip streams are no good at pushing air through a heatsink like the mugen 2, they push 110cfm vs the kaze 3000rpm 133cfm, the slip stream is 37db vs kaze 45.9db.
It is called static pressure. The ability to push air through restrict areas like heatsink or radiator. I have no problem with undervoltage kaze 3000rpm fan.
what is the static pressure on the kaze vs the slip stream?

is there any fans that you would recommend that are on pricespy.co.nz that are in stock?

Any of the Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm fans are good.

Okay. seen as you have a mugen 2 and a ultra kaze 3000rpm fan on it. is it loud when running? also how did you mount it to the mugen 2?
It is loud running 2 ultra kaze 3000rpm at full , but I have them on a fan control to lower the noise. You can use zip ties. I used nuts , bolts and washers to mount them.

Two isnt really an option unless i take the exhaust case fan out, the two fans would be too close and the rpm difference would hurt the slower fan.

theres no specification on what cfm that produces either?
Thanks for your opinion though.
