the thing with eyefinity view is. one of the display has to be using displayport, and if you don't have a displayport you have to buy a active displayport>dvi adapter and they cost around 100 bucks. so in the end i'll be spending another 400 bucks just to get it working, whilst i been reading on many triple monitor forums that they been using games with two gtx 260 or any other non sli configuration cards. and another gtx 260 would only cost me 120-200.

Yeah it will, if I understand it correctly he wants another card so he can run 3 monitors at once. Although I have the older model 8800s I ran 3 and now 4 monitors on them fine.
I forgot about my cell phone, had to stand in the corner:
LOL problem solved when i dogged up my old asus ati 300xt. now i'm running triple head display
the best part is i didn't even have to install the ati driver since i was worried about the driver conflict between ati and nvidia but all problem solved since window simply recognized it as another adapter. credit goes to that triple head gaming thread on here
I can finally join the club. Forgive the mess with all the cords, I just moved my whole room around and haven't had a chance to do some cable management yet. Samsung XL2370 on the left and Samsung 226BW on the right. Stock settings on both monitors. I need to calibrate the XL2370, just got it yesterday.
Woot; need to get a member list up. Also need to find my tanj camera...
