Hey guys! I'm planning a new buid for my friend and wondered if I should use Mushkin PC8500... I don't have any experience with mushkin and still thinking that OCZ Reaper series is better. Convince me to buy Mushkin.

What do you think of this one?

other thoughts: Just like Belkin it must be Russian?

Ive never had any problems with Mushkin they over clock well and are the top of the line memory IMO, Support is outstanding just a phone call away with no waiting on hold. they will help you Oc if you have problems, I find it stable at 2.0-2.1 v i have my 1066 oc to 1162 atm. wow the price has dropped 10 bucks I guess its time to order another set.
I got the OCZ Reapers and I love them. Why change something that you know works. I also hear from a lot of people that Mushkin is really good. Can't go wrong with either one, I say.
I love OCZ but they are very picky (hard to tweak at times)... And I also heard alot of good things about Mushkin... It will not be OCed, just need something that would run stable at the original spec. for years to come. In addition, I'll be running it on Gigabyte EP45-UD3P

Always loved my Mushkin ram. I've had some cheap DDR2800 (1GB x 2) sticks clocked at 1066 5-5-5-15 for years now, and still going strong.

Ok guys I think you actually convinced me, I'm going for it!Thanks ALL!!!
If I had the $$$, I would get nothing less than Mushkin. "F" Corsair, G. Skill, OCZ, and the rest. Mushkin is the best of the best

I don't know about the best of the best, but it is in the top tier.

Personaly, I would get THIS G Skill instead since your planning on running at stock speeds. Same timings and voltage as the Mushkin, and some solid RAM.

THanks for suggestion, but I'll try Mushkin since I never wirked with it before and I'm very curious about it's performance. Better recommend me a heatslink for E8500 under $50

Thanks you!

Xigmatek Dark Knight

Comes with mounting brackets, the normal S1283 doesn't.
i got 512mb of SDRAM for a old pc a few months ago and it works flawlessly. Thats all my experience with them, but I hear good things.

Sorry, can't find much info... All Iknow is that founder of the company is Bill Mushkin who's biography is unknown, unlike Kaspersky's.

Where are you from "Kako taka.." ?

I love my mushkins 1066 5-5-5-15 2.1v from 800 5-5-5-12 1.8. Ive gotten them to 1250 at 6-6-6-18 2.1v. Majority of Mushkins ddr2 lineup is composed of the good overclocking d9 variants (or at least they used to be, I heard micron doesn't make many good d9 variants anymore).
