D: Not cool man... I got the e68 error which means *** hard drive.

remove your hard drive and re attach it again, worked for me when i had that error 3 weeks ago
Did 4 or five times now...

No. This thing just failed on its own.... Personally I think I can cursed or something.
New HD for 360: $50
New 360: $400

Getting banned for fixing it yourself and not paying M$ to fix your 360: priceless

hey...I fixed my xbox hard disk simply by removing it and throwing it on bed..

and it just simply works till date..no problems at all..(just done it 2months back

theres ways on doing the hard drive mod, im running a 320GB on my Jasper 360. Im going to play it safe and not post on how to do it. im not sure on overclocks policy. I have had it for 4 months now without getting banned.

I'm pretty sure that MS will fix it for free if the seal isn't broken. If you don't want to send it in I would take it apart and disconnect all the cables then plug them back in, it could just be a bad connection.
effing microsoft man, i was planning on getting a 20gb hard drive and putting in it a 500gb one, so much for that happening

Firmware on the Xbox HDD is locked. Can't be seen in an OS environment.
