damn i only got 50 fps on the heaven bench mark but i still have mine on stock settings, i guess that much of an overclock makes that much of a difference.

physx inflates the cpu score big time.. the 5970 is about 20-30% faster than a pair of gtx285.. i miss them big time tho. and my 5870s are faster.

See this is where i get all messed up about benchies. I have physx Ati doesnt so does that actually make it a faster card? Its like racing 2 cars one has a 4 barrel one has a 2 barrel guess whos gonna win! Anyway its all good and some very nice benches on that 5970 bye the way!

well, the 5970 still smashes the SLI 285's GPU scores.....

its about £300 for a 285 here (2x = £600), so for about the same price you get an extra 5k GPU score (i know its only 3d mark but it shows the extra fps), a card that remains cool as a cucumber (SLI 285's are probably pretty toasty) & probably uses half the power.

ATI is still slightly in front on this one IMO

lol because its a unfair comparison with ati benchies. I bet my single 5850 score comes close to your 2x 285's in vantage with physX OFF.

Are you on 10.2's or lower? 10.3's help a lot in vantage. And what clocks are you at?
