Well first off my specs are..

Phenom II x4 945 125w clocked at 3.6
A-DATA Gaming Series 2GB DDR3 1600
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
XIGMATEK Intel Core i7 compatible Dark Knight
OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

So yea.....

Whenever i overclock my gpu, even if its 30 mhz on the core, i get a green screen.

So, any ideas what could be causing this...
Ive ran prime95 for like 3 days straight just to see if any of my components crapped out but nothing did.

Also, im running my ram at 9-9-9-24, i had it at 8-8-8-24 aswell, and it still did the same thing.

I am using catalyst 10.5 as .6 sucks.

So yea.... lol.

Please help

By the way clocks are at stock
850-1200

What?

The package even says i should be able to overclock.

The cucore has the voltage unlocked and i've seen people get 1000-1400 easily on these forums..

I cant get 870-1200 without bsoding.

Lol.

It turns out that my ram was the problem.
the second channel was clocked at 10-9-9-9-24 and i suppose that screwed it up.

Ive got a clock of 1050-1450 at 1.27v

67c load and 39c idle

1050mhz is great, mine won't hold stable before 1.3v; however at that voltage the cooler becomes insufficient for the juice the card pulls.
