VID and voltages for 4.0ghz please?

I've been trying to go above 3.7ghz and i can, but it requires a lot of voltage which in turn means lots of heat. I don't like to think how much i spent on watercooling and have it still running at 60c load

can you do something about those kinks by ur res? but it looks great tho
im a bit jealous of the wc setup. my aircooled rig is rediculous tho. I have 6 Scythe ultra kaze 3k fans blowin around in my rig

those kinks are real pain in the *** cos I got really lazy at the end after finishing it but i will solve it some time later this year

I added a screenshot of 4.0 GHZ
vcore is set to 1,6
VID 1.2750v

Like I said before I need to find a disco ball and UV reactive rad grills and need to cut a round acrylic panel for my side panel.

I really spent some money and effort until it became like this, including struggling with my wife (she is against to have such an ugly thing(her point of view) in the living room even thou its at the corner and under the desk)

So Please if you liked it tell me how much you liked it.

Thanks everybody...

As a matter of fact it is, even bigger problem i now face is next step at the bios bigger than 1,6 is 1,65 and it gives cpu over voltage error at the boot but continoues lol,

I have successfuly booted and tested at 4.2 on 1,65 however my cooling had only 1 rad so i didnt push it but now i think i am ready for more,

anyone have an idea of what volts needed for 4.5 ghz..

I might also be getting short on psu power cos its only 500w 450w real output

I hope you can afford to replace that CPU when it dies.

Also, might want to get some Bitspower G 1/4" Black Sparkle 90 Degree IG 1/4" Adapter's for those kinks.

if it dies, i will be very upset but then it wil be a great excuse for an i7 cpu

With 1.6 on the vcore I wouldn't be surprised if it does die.

They're a LOT tougher than you think. The 65nm Intel CPU's can take a huge beating. Mine has been subject to 1.62v for months now.

I'd personally be afraid to push that much voltage into a chip even if it is 65nm... But if you can't afford to replace it, don't overclock it

Why would you be afraid, if a chip is supposed to last 10 year with max voltage of 1.5, then how much life would you loose at 1.6? You going to use the chip for 5 years?

so like i said above is there anyway to adjust my bios to give voltages between 1,6 and 1,65 volts because i dont have the option in bios....
