Ok I have a lapped E8400 I forget the vid off hand I will look it up. It is on a zalman 9500 and has never seen above 54C. It will do 4.1ghz on 1.35 volts. Don't know how much further it will go as I have no desire to go further.

So whats it worth?

Its going for $170 new on newegg so i would say something around the $120 dollar range

4.1 ghz is common now with E8400 E0 steppings. and its so easy to distinguish which one is C0 and which one is E0. so yes 120-130 shipped sounds bout rite... u can get a brand new E0 E8400 for $150 if u can find a local MicroCenter too.

I know mine is a C0, but that isn't a bad thing. I have a C0 that can do 4.3ghz.

the old celerons socket 370 that were just a p3 but with less cache some of those you could overclock to 1ghz befor 1ghz p3's were even out those... sold for more then the processor was in stores on ebay but again back in the day things were different!
