At this point, since most everything else in your PC is pretty nice it would be lame to go without an SSD. Once you go there you will never go back.

My other advice would be to consider an ASUS board, and I would research cases more. Make sure your case meets all your needs and your not just going for looks and flash. Of course looks are important. They are to me, but you don't want to have to sacrifice features or accessibility for looks. Usually you can find a happy medium between the two. And then mod your case to how you want it.

Yep, you'll see that there are a lot of reccomendations for the M4. As you can see thats what I use. But youre not locked into that, since there are lots of good options out there. Read this thread HERE. (as a starting point)

Get the M4, there are some comparable SSD's but they aren't comparable at price. M4 wins.

Consider the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 to save some good money.

I'd avoid the CX500, you are better off with the HCG400. The HCG400 can output more watts anyway, lol, & It's $23.75 after MIR/Promo Code.

PSU depends alot on what you think the future GPU will be though.

Also I wouldn't buy a GPU you are planning to replace anyway, but IDK what you do.. What's the rig for?

I personally have been very happy with my intel 520 drive. Both of the intel ssd's i've owned gave me no issues what so ever, plus the 520 series has a 5 year warranty backed by intel. Can't get much better than that.

Also, if you get the 60gb like I did, you can try out intel's SRT. Personally, I like the stand alone boot drive + storage drive, but SRT works very well if you like the "hands off" feel. Good luck, and have fun with your first build!

There's nothing wrong with the cx v2 series. I myself am powering my system with the 430w model, works perfectly fine. Besides, the cx500 has more amps on the 12v rail, so in what way does the hcg400 "output more watts"?
