My first ever mod

So I have been wanting to do a side window mod on my Antec 1200 since I saw the TJ Harlow vid on youtube. I really was hesitant because I was afraid I would screw it up! I finally grabbed my cajones today and just went ahead and did it. I love how it turned out. The cuts weren't as straight as they could have been, but the u-channel really hides the imperfections well.

Also, I didn't want to do a full log just because I know a full log on how to do this has already been posted. So here is my end result, I love it!

Now thats a sexy window.

Very well done.
I'd be scared trying to mod for the first time on a 200 dollar case but you pulled it off

Solid clean job

Wow, thanks guys! I think I may have opened a can of worms here. I have always wanted to do some modding, but was afraid I'd screw it up. I think more will be coming.

One thing I did before I took the plunge on my mod was remove the mesh and mount a fan grill in my case. Made it look a lot better and you could see about everything too. Maybe try that if you want a cleaer look but want to keep your fan.

Very nice.. It takes nerves to cut into an expensive cases side panel when you have no cutting experiance etc. Your finished window looks very clean and tidy. And it's a large window.
I was going to cut an arcrylic window into my P-80 lian li sidepanel but chickened out and bought a premade windowed panel. (I know i'm a loser).
I just didn;t want to make a hash of cutting.I know from my previous test attempts that I can't cut a straight line to save my life.
When a replacement factory default side panel costs costs about £60 to replace it can get expensive.
Good luck fuloran1 on your future mods
