My new board came, but doesn't work...

Really pissed off now. It arrived on Saturday while I was away and mother collected the parcel etc. Open it up after removing it's mummification and notice a few things:
  • Partially dislodged capacitor
  • One of the key's for the ram side is broken, RAM wobbles
  • Some of the capacitors aren't solid state- Despite the board and many reference pictures and even the seller's listing showing all solid caps!:swearing:
The board doesn't POST with the GPU in PCI-E Slot 1 but does fine with 2 and 3, but the picture seems almost a greeny yellow tint. I propably could make do, but why should I have to, I paid £80 for a faulty board which the seller explicitly stated as working fine. I requested a refund and If this falls then it will be a claim with PayPal. Any suggestions? I really like the board and don't wanna ditch it if I have too.

Man, this really sucks. I would totally fight to get a FULL refund, and if you paid for shipping, make him pay. Can you show some pictures?
Return it.
Yep, this sucks. Will do and post some piccies up in a while
Status yet? I'm curious as to where this is going...
Really lame, I agree with everyone, been down that road with bad sellers. Negative feedback, a return, and notifying Paypal are in order here.
No update as of yet... Waiting for the guy to reply, if he doesn't I will use PayPal to claim!
Yeah dont wait, you can still call p-p but there is a time period in witch you need to wait to file a claim. But you can still call and they will note what you tell them.I sold a lappy awhile ago and the guy tryed to get 45.00 from me he said mouse pad didnt work,i know it was fine he just wanted extra money because it was a x-mas gift and arrived after x-mas,i call p-p and told them they said tell him to send it back and i would fix it.How was i to know what was wrong i wont fix something i cant see,i had [email protected]% and he left a neg feedback after 5 yrs of building my feedback he screws it up.

The period to wait for a claim is if you didn't recieve an item. If you recieve an item that isn't what it's supposed to be or is broken, you may claim right away. There is no period in waiting.
